Explore the Downtown Marshall Social District

Launched in September 2020, the Marshall Social District offers a unique way to enjoy downtown Marshall. Within this designated area, visitors can purchase alcoholic beverages in special to-go cups from participating establishments and leisurely stroll through the district, soaking in the town’s historic charm. 

Operating hours are Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. To participate, order your favorite drink in a Marshall Social District cup, exit onto the designated walkways or alleys, and enjoy. Remember, drinks must remain within the district boundaries, which are clearly marked with signage. When finished, please dispose of your cup responsibly.

There are nine local businesses in downtown Marshall that participate in the Social District: 

  1. Bogar Theatre is a family-owned historic movie theater with a bar area.
  2. The Broadway Grille is a local chain with an extensive menu of pizza, burgers, and cocktails.
  3. Copper Athletic Club is one of the favorite sports bars in town and has a great selection. 
  4. El Tajin Mexican Restaurant offers margaritas to go, yes, please! 
  5. Grand River Brewery is currently closed while they revamp the space. 
  6. Maria’s Uncorked is a local wine bar and florist in downtown Marshall. 
  7. Schuler’s Restaurant is one of downtown Marshall’s most popular places to eat. 
  8. Stagecoach Inn is a historic bar in Marshall, opened in 1838.
  9. Twisted Rivers Winery offers tastings, slushies, and snacks in downtown Marshall.
